Finding the truth about what your representative is actually doing is a tricky thing to do.  Many times proposed legislation is mixed up with parts that have nothing to do with the title of the legislation.  Although there are many rules that try to stop this confusion from happening, those that want to pass legislation against the will of the majority of voters will often resort to all kinds of tricks to get a law passed or killed.

One place we have found to be helpful in researching Idaho candidates is the Idaho Freedom Foundation who publishes a score-card for every representative in the Idaho State legislature.

Another way to find out what your representatives are doing as opposed to what they are saying is to search out a group that is focused on an issue you care about.  They can usually tell you who their favorite or least-favorite representatives are.
