The ICGG was formed primarily to address the \u201cRepublican In Name Only\u201d (RINO) issue.\u00a0 We stormed the state capital to reveal a photo board of our state legislators voting records to dramatically show how far left our beloved party has gone.<\/p>

Historically we can see clearly since the “Republican Revolution” of the early 1990s under the leadership of Newt Gingrich, that even when the party has the House, the Senate and the Presidency, it generally cannot make any progress in the kinds of reforms true conservatives want to see – a return to our Constitutional Republic as envisioned by our founders.<\/p>

Up to this day the ICGG has still been stymied as to how to get at least our state or county party to start to resemble the American values we see touted by Trump and his team.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Yet no one on this list have ever been censured or cast out of the party despite the party rules that seem to require republican candidates to follow the party platform.<\/p>

How is it that the Idaho State Republican Party knows all this and yet has done nothing?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The key problem is how the party is structured and the way to figure this out is to look into the Idaho State Republican Party rules<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The party rules are created at the State Republican Party Convention each election cycle.\u00a0 The delegates to that event are elected from the County Party Central Committees and those committees are maned by local PCM (Precinct Committee Men) who are elected by the people from their precinct.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

There is no veting of Precinct Committee Men.\u00a0 Any party affiliate may run for the office and represent the party and influence its rules and thus its candidates.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our founders admitted that this country could not function with a Republican form of government without a moral populace.<\/p>

That is because the people are to have the power and an immoral populace does not have the capacity to govern itself.<\/p>

What we are witnessing is a deep infiltration of the party all over the country that is placing people on the ballot with the R brand that do not vote at all like the party platform would suggest.<\/p>

In an effort to counteract this, Dorothy Moon is speaking to the various County Central Committees in the state about parliamentary procedures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

We anticipate that this training may be the best way to begin to cleanse the party of its RINOs and get us back to the ability to vote for candidates who stand for what the party stands for.<\/p>

The meeting on Valentine’s Day was well attended with approximately 50 people showing up.<\/p>

Dorothy proceeded to explain the structure of the Republican Party in Idaho and shared many experiences she has had with various candidates, counties, districts, and regions.<\/p>

As questions came in regarding requests by ICGG members to have her submit a press release or conference to help the public identify the known RINOs in office, some friction resulted and it came out that Dorothy values the unity of the party and does not believe that calling out legislators from the top-down is the proper way to go.\u00a0 She emphasized that a bottom-up approach is the way a true Republic is designed to work.\u00a0 She asserted that the PC’s are where the power is to both set the platform and hold their district reps to task.<\/p>

Once understood, ICGG members told Dorothy that we were happy with her accomplishments and do support her fully.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The tension was relieved and some other issues brought up by various attendees came up.<\/p>

Of note, Vince Rundhaug, Idaho County’s Central Committee chair, brought up the fact that there are about 1400 known RINO voters in Idaho County which has only about 11,000 active voters.\u00a0 These are registered Republicans who voted for the Biden\/Harris ticket.<\/p>

Vince and Dorothy also pointed out that the YAL (Young Americans for Liberty<\/a>) has been pushing issues that are dividing Republican conservatives and may be attempting to cause party division.<\/p>

Their website does not define what they mean by “Liberty” and provides a candidate survey but no indication of which answers on such a survey are desired.<\/p>
