I was watching this video today by Casey Putsch who is valiantly running for the office of Governor in Ohio. Naturally, since he is a tried and true American who want’s to actually save this country, he is discouraged because of the array of rigging that exists preventing an average American from achieving victory in such races.
We are all in the same boat, and the fruits of our own labor are being used against us.
The list of things that would discourage is seemingly endless, and it would break almost anyone who tried to list them.
The only way to fight this war is to realize it is a spiritual one. Without the faith that God is in control, we would all be wailing in our tears. One must have faith to fight and even survive this battle.
So let’s focus on some positive things the ICGG has managed to achieve in its short lifespan.
- We kicked off our existence with a campaign in Boise with an anti-RINO campaign showing the true voting records of republican candidates that vote like democrats.
- We managed to kick out Chuck Winder, one of the worst senators we had, who was lined up to follow in Scott Bedke’s path towards the governorship with just a few weekends of canvassing his district.
- We hired help for our beloved state senator, Cindy Carlson, to assist her in her duties as a representative for us, and in doing so set a new standard of public civil activity that others are starting to follow.
- We have published key voting records and worked with other groups to educate voters on who is naughty and who is nice.
- We have kept in contact with the local and state Republican parties, doing our best to encourage true support for individual liberty, truth in elections, and accountability for those who use and abuse the party for their own agendas.
With that in mind, I would like to propose a project for the ICGG and for any of those discouraged true Americans trying to run for office:
The Recall for Accountability Project
What if we started organizing a group that does nothing but recall campaigns in every state of the union at all levels, from city to national offices? Over time, this group would gain the experience needed to overcome all the slimy tricks used to stop accountability. It would not be party-based but would be a way for those frustrated voters to express their displeasure in a way that our elected officers would need to pay attention to.
Once successes start happening, the people will see a way to force accountability onto our representatives. Term limits are too hard to get and not really what we need, but an active electorate that knows both how to vote them in, as well as out, could be a way to achieve the better parts of term limits and is accessible to every registered voter out there.
Let us know what you think of such a crazy idea.
